CQ - Green rock witch girls

Phew I haven't drawn in 3 weeks! Here are some quick fanbunnies from Cucumber Quest verse I drew to unwind

Jade
One of Peridot’s ancestors and also the right hand witch of whatever evil overlord was taking over dreamside at the time. She’s, of course, from the crystal kingdom and is based on the Chinese legend of the jade rabbit and thus has a moon motif despite most of the world’s magic being represented as stars. Jade is talented in potions/elixirs (again referencing the jade rabbit), gets bored easily, and forces people to entertain her at times under the threat of turning them into stone. She loves to watch juggling and stage magic. She eventually realizes the errors of her ways near end of the story and grows up teaching potion’s class at Puffington’s.

Malachite
Another green rock witch girl (Peridot ancestor #2), though she prefers to be called a mage instead of a witch and dresses as such. Her specialty is absorbing and neutralizing other people’s magic, as well as healing spells (Malachite stones are believed to be able to heal and absorb negative energy) Being super chipper and friendly, she doesn’t take her “evil minon” role very seriously and is more interested in making friends and having fun! (She became the evil overlord’s underling in the first place because he’s a cool alien and looked grumpy so she wanted to help him cheer up, even if it means summoning an ancient evil to take over the world) She later runs off to join the heroes on their quest because the evil overlord never stops being grumpy and she gave up on him.
